Still Need a New Year’s Resolution? Come to Wellington’s Volunteer 2011! Event!
Volunteer 2011! will feature booths and sign-up information for Volunteer Wellington and CVO. More than 20 additional service organizations will be present, including Habitat for Humanity, Hospice of Palm Beach County, March of Dimes, Peggy Adams Animal Rescue League of the Palm Beaches, Solid Waste Authority, Vinceremos Therapeutic Riding Center and the Wellington Branch Library.
“Volunteering is a perfect opportunity to learn more about your community, meet new people and have some fun!” said Volunteer Coordinator Kim Henghold. “With so many organizations at this event, everyone is bound to find a volunteer opportunity that fits their interests.”
Volunteer 2011! will also pack plenty of fun for families, including bounce houses, face painting, refreshment vendors, entertainment by local dance troupes, a choral group from Wellington Landings Middle School and other local talent.
