Summer Fun at the Wellington Community Center
Beginning in May, Heidi Caravetta will introduce her innovative program called Create It! Paint Your Own Pottery. She will offer a “Mommy & Me” class for 3-5 year olds, a class for 8-11 year olds, and a class for adults. Students will watch the magical transformation of plain, white pottery into a one-of-a-kind work of art that they can keep or give as a gift. All classes are one hour per week, four weeks long, and feature a different project each week. Sign up today because this amazing experience only happens in May & June!
As Create It! ends in June, a new opportunity for 6-14 year olds begins when Danielle Williams brings Immeasurable Children’s Theatre Performance Camp to Wellington. Campers will join Danielle Williams with her experienced and professional staff for three weeks (Monday through Thursday) of learning acting, dancing, scenic art, voice, stage combat and more, like “Free Pizza Thursdays”! The lively weeks of rehearsal culminate into a full-scale theatre production that will showcase the knowledge and talent of the campers. The June production will be “The Jungle Book”, and “Treasure Island” will be featured in July. Sign up for both and receive a discounted rate!
Participants must register in advance online, via fax, or at the Wellington Community Center (12150 Forest Hill BLVD, Suite 100) or at Village Park (11700 Pierson Road).
